APRIL, 23rd, 1991. Time: 21:00. Duration: 25 minutes. An aircraft pilot reported the sighting of an unidentified flying object that was “apparently round” and with colors “red, blue, white and yellow, following the aircraft”. According to the six witnesses on board the aircraft, the UFO followed the plane at a distance ranging between 30 and 60 NM [nautical miles], and at an altitude also varying between 5,000ft and 10,000ft. The unknown object flew in the “8 hours and 10 hours position”, making “circular movements, going up; non-ballistic movements” and leaving “white trails”. Complementary data from COMDABRA [Brazilian Aerospace Defense Command]: “Tonight Dep [took off from] Curitiba and saw a light on the + FL-250 [25.000ft] in the 8:00 to 10:00 position. Red, blue, white and yellow. Southwest of Sorocaba “. Also: “Alteration of FL [flight level] without any crew member doing it; some manipulation of on-board instruments.”
